Our Statement
of Faith

Although we are a
conservative and mainstream Evangelical ministry, our heart is to
minister to the entirety of the body of Christ. Our mission is not so
much to teach doctrine as it is to encourage thinking ... as
demonstrated by the following statement...
Is God doing something
new as we enter a new millennium? Is He bringing change into the church
today? Yes! He always is! God is perfect and is eternally the same, but
He is eternally up to something different in every generation (Malachi
3:6). His ways and methods stay fresh, and are forever
fresh—unpredictably new. we can count on this.
It
is through our personal relationship with Jesus Christ that God allows
change and freshness in our lives. Therefore, what He is doing in the
church today may seem—in our ignorance—to be new and creative to
us, but to Him it is just our progression towards perfection in our
never-changing, eternal God, Christ
Jesus.
We
believe that Jesus is fully God and was fully man. We
believe that there is no salvation in any other name but Jesus.
The Bible alone, and the Bible in its entirety, is the Word of God
written and is therefore inerrant in the autographs. God is a Trinity,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each an uncreated person, one in
essence, equal in power and glory.

The Next Great Move of God."

We talk a lot and
preach a lot on what it will take to make a Christian community
work. Well, here is a sermon that you will love/hate, but it
tells us what must be in place for a Christian community to be
in unity and harmony and be able to meet the needs of those in
the community, whether in good or hard times. Preached
Wednesday, October 22nd at the Revival Conference in Atlanta,
Georgia. Paul Washer delivers an urgent appeal to the Christians
and Churches in North America that many have been believing a
false gospel and have false assurance of their salvation. It is
a wakeup call to self examination, as he lists 10 indictments
against the modern Church system in America.
This is a
historical urgent message, tell others and spread the message.
We need a reformation and revival of a biblical standard!

The Mission Statement For ArkHaven
Ministries
To bring unity and
community to the body of Christ!
Being a revivalist rather than an evangelist, my ministry emphasis is
on the need for revival in the church. Not until the church is
operating in all the provision that God has set in place for her to
evangelize with, can the church bring the lost to Christ on the
scale we all wish to see. Not until we are truly following the
Acts model for the church can we ever hope to be the Bride who has
truly made herself ready for the Bride Groom.
Although I have a passion to see the Great Commission fulfilled, my
major focus and calling is to play my part in preparing a glorious Bride
for the coming Bride Groom.
The theme
running through my book: Dawning: The Next Great Move of God, says
that the next great move of God is more about quality than quantity. The
multitudes will be there, but more importantly, within that multitude
there will be the prepared Bride who has a passion for the Bride Groom.
God is calling the church to exceed the purity and power of the first century church.
And even more importantly, God is preparing a
glorious Bride who has focused on nothing else but preparing herself for
the Bride Groom, the Lion of Judah, the everlasting King! My mission is to
teach and exhort all who will listen, to be ready for that day.
What We Believe
|
The Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the
inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and
complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the
divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. |
|
God:
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and
eternally existing in three Manifestations: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Christ: Jesus Christ is true
God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and
born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and
final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures.
Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven,
where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our
High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit:
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus
Christ and during this age, to convince men of sin, regenerate
the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the
believer for godly living and service.
Man: Man was
created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore
lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can
salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
Salvation: The
shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only
ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and
only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy
Spirit and thus become children of God. |
The Return of Jesus
Christ: The personal, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is
our hope and has vital bearing on the personal life and service
of the believer.
We are
decidedly pre-millennial. Read
more on our stance concerning the return of Christ.
Future Events: There will be a
bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to
everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the
unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
The
Church: The true Church is
composed of all such person, who, through saving faith in Jesus
Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united
together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.
Baptism and Communion: Water
baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal
Savior is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new
life. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth
in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus
Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in
it. |
